ARGUMENTO
Cada cierta cantidad de años en una pequeña ciudad costera se produce un ciclo de muertes repentinas, no se sabe si alguien está enfermo debido a que no se manifiestan síntomas externos, salvo en la etapa final, que dura sólo algunas horas, en la cual la nariz sangra profusamente y sus víctimas terminan muriendo debido a una hemorragia interna masiva.
La gente del lugar se ha resignado y ha aprendido a vivir con una plaga que se lleva a sus seres queridos sin aviso. y la han llamado la Muerte Roja. Como en todo orden de cosas hay personas que ven la enfermedad como una especie de control, afirmando que sólo afecta a quienes son malas personas, y hay otros que piensan que simplemente no hace distinción ni de clase ni de raza, que cualquier persona puede morir por su causa.
Las autoridades no tienen explicación, ni mucho menos un tratamiento para la misma, alejados como están de las grandes ciudades, disponen de recursos muy limitados que no son suficientes para llevar a cabo una investigación médica que permita descubrir su origen y menos aún una cura.
Todos en la ciudad saben que cuando aparecen dos o tres muertos por hemorragia interna, el ciclo de la Muerte Roja ha comenzado...
Plot
Every few years in a small coastal town a sudden deaths cycle occurs, not known if someone is sick because they do not manifest external symptoms except in the final stage, which lasts only a few hours, in which the nose bleeds profusely and their victims end up dying because of massive internal bleeding.
The locals are resigned and has learned to live with a plague that takes their loved ones without notice, and they called it the Red Death. As in any order things there are people who see the disease as a kind of control, stating that only affects those who are bad people, and there are others who think that just do not no respecter of class or race, anyone can die for their cause.
The authorities have no explanation, much less a treatment for it, far as they are of big cities, have very limited resources are not sufficient to conduct a medical investigation to find its origin or a cure.
Everyone in town knows that when two or three killed by internal bleeding, the cycle of the Red Death has begun...
